Iris has been on hiatus since she became bored with the idea of keeping a blog, mostly a result of her realizing there is no real payoff to working on a blog. So, I leave her on here because she’s cute but she isn’t going to be writing anything anytime soon. In fact, I bet she can’t even remember how to get to this website. hahahah.

Hi! I chose the name Iris because she is the “Goddess of the Rainbow”.

My favorite hobby is being a connoisseur of horror/sci-fi movies and lesbian flicks. It all started during my childhood staying up late on weekends to watch “chiller theater” and “creature feature”. Blockbuster feeds my habit these days. I watch a lot of classic scary stuff as well as foreign films and of course the new movies coming out.

One of my other hobbies is collecting antiquarian books. I really like old medical books and feminist literature.

Now you’re probably wondering what I do for fun. Besides watching the science channel, I like to write, go on road trips, hiking, and photography.

By the way I am the calm rational part of the Poppy, Iris duo, because someone has to be!
