I am the guilty party responsible for starting this website. I usually drag my partner, Iris, into these little projects with me.
Iris and I have been together for 14 years. We have lived in Niagara Falls, NY for the last 6 years, owning and managing a five unit apartment building along the beautiful Niagara Gorge.
I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York… in and around a thriving Polish community. I moved to Ohio in the late 80’s and attended college on and off there. I met and married a person there whom I refer to as “FF”. FF and I were married for eight years and had two beautiful children before we divorced.
My daughter is 20 and studying two majors in an honors program at university. My son is 16 and studying computer gaming vigorously at home. I love them tremendously!!!!
I am prone to swearing, and moody to the extreme. I hope you enjoy the ups and downs that I write about. I feel life as I view it is deeply affected by the various types of dysfunction I was raised in, and how I respond to that on any given day.

I really love social justice and domestic policy issues as they relate to each other. I actively work for Marriage Equality for Gay and Lesbian couples. I used to love to argue with the right wing… but I am tiring of that these days.

I love Buffalo and Western New York and am very proud of my Polish-American heritage. I enjoy cooking, and old house stuff. I love art and design and make paintings and mosaics. I have an old white accordion I would love to learn how to play for real.

I love to make all sorts of crafts and try to make art. Please visit my etsy shop to see my stuff.

My favorite movies are K-Pax, the Weatherman and the Station Agent. I love foreign films, my favorite being Elling.

I love animals and care very deeply for their well being.

I attend a Unitarian Universalist church but am very interested in Buddhism, meditation, civil disobedience and non-violent resistance.

I love science and math including topics such as time, parallel universes, science of the brain, consciousness and mystical math.

I also really love old homes and architectural preservation. I am deeply involved in urban renewal or revitalization and justice/equality within a city’s social environment.
